CASA is the Court Appointed Special Advocate program. Our mission is to speak up for and support the best interests of abused and neglected children in the court system.
We are a non-profit organization founded locally in 1994 and we are assigned to every abuse, neglect, and dependency cases in Knox County, and Warren County of IL.

The Head Start program is a national program that promotes school readiness of low-income children by enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional development through the provision of health, educational, nutritional, social, family, parent involvement and other services that are determined, based on family needs assessments, to be necessary.

Prairie State Legal Services offers free legal services for low income persons and those over 60 who have serious civil legal problems and need legal help to solve them.

Our mission is "to provide or coordinate the delivery of high quality legal services to low-income individuals, families and groups."

Throughout its history, Prairie State has focused on providing legal services to the most vulnerable groups in our society, including the poor, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

Bridgeway, Inc is a comprehensive human services organization providing a wide array of services for people of all ages and all abilities so that each and every individual that we serve can improve their quality of life, can achieve their dreams and achieve their goals.

The Center for Youth & Family Solutions provides a full range of human services to people from all circumstances. Our mission reflects a belief in the enduring strength, creativity and perseverance of the human spirit. The same core values that guided us during the creation of the Center serve as a beacon of hope as we continue to partner with families and communities across the state to solve the many challenges in the family life cycle in modern society. The Resource Link Department provides care coordination services for children and adolescents in the fields of mental and behavioral health. We help families find resources for their children. We schedule an intake appointment with each family and complete an assessment with parents to find out what problems they are having. We then discuss all of the options of resources in the area for meeting the needs of that family. We make referrals to the service providers to ensure that families are able to access the necessary resources.

The mission of Safe Harbor Family Crisis Center is to support and respond to the needs of survivors of domestic violence and their dependents in an effort to avoid further abuse.

Safe Harbor Family Crisis Center is a non-profit community agency that provides confidential help to individuals who are experiencing violence (in all its forms)in their relationships.

What is a Community Health Center?

Grant-Supported Federally Qualified Health Centers are public and private non-profit health care organizations that meet certain criteria under the Medicare and Medicaid Programs.

In effort to maintain both the safety and well-being of children, the mission of the Knox County Child Advocacy Center is to coordinate timely, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary approaches and responses to both child sexual abuse and serious physical abuse victimization. Such activities are coordinated and provided in a safe, agency-neutral, child focused setting that is shared amongst all members of the multidisciplinary team.
